Farouk was born in Damacus, Syria. His interest on painting was cultivated throughout his life, by being captivated by the landscapes and precious details surrounding him. Adding his creativity to his art, Farouk plays with different types of materials, including some egyptian paper, painting with oil, and knives. He has won different artist's awards, and his work has been posted on several important galleries.
